Almost 200 March for Justice for Immigrants
About 150 Northern Illinois United Methodists marched to demonstrate their support of justice for immigrants on June 15, near the Schaumburg Renaissance Convention Center.
Mr. Tom Zolk, spouse of Rev. Cynthia Zolk, retired member of the Northern Illinois Conference, passed away Monday, July 10, 2023. During her ministry, Rev. Zolk served Aurora: Fourth Street; Wheaton: Gary; Waukegan: Hope; Franklin Park: First; Brooke Road; Harding; and Serena.
Mr. Zolk was 78 years old.
A memorial service will be held at First United Methodist Church of LaGrange, 100 W. Cossitt Avenue, LaGrange, IL 60525, on August 26 at 10 a.m.
