Here is your check list for before arriving at Annual Conference:
For Membes to AC (Clergy and Laity)
- Register by May 23. NO late registrations accepted.
- Make accessibility requests (including mobility scooter reservations) when registering.
- Clergy need to register for Clergy session by May 5.
- Register for Child care if needed.
- Make your hotel reservations.
- Plan for collecting your church’s Bishop’s Appeal donations and Mission Challenge collections.
- Understand your role at Annual Conference.
- Educate yourself about the Voting that will be taking place.
- Attend a Pre-Conference briefing. Dates to be announced. Will be in late May or early June.
- First-time members: View New Member Orientation video to be posted in May.
- Reach out with any accessibility needs.
- An accessibility coordinator will help with accommodations for those with vision, movement, hearing, and other limitations. When you register, please indicate your needs. (This includes mobility scooters.)
- If you need a mother's room or a private space to nurse/pump, please contact Ariel Alonso before Annual Conference.
For Volunteers or Guests:
- Guests are welcome to any service or plenary session.
- Guests are not able to vote.
- Register as a guest. Registration is needed for meals and to ensure correct number of chairs.
- A Livestream of the Conference for guests will be available on the NIC YouTube channel.
- Volunteer help is needed for a successful Annual Conference.
- We need registration volunteers, ushers/plenary pages, greeters, information desk volunteers and more to help Annual Conference run smoothly and efficiently.
- We need volunteers for the whole time, a day or even part of a day. No previous experience is necessary.
- Volunteers need to be at least 16 and cannot be voting members.
- Those interested in Volunteering should fill out the Volunteer form by May 5.

Packing Check List
- Sweater for cold meeting rooms
- Clothing appropriate for ordination, retirement, and memorial services
- Comfortable clothing for plenaries and break times
- Legislation (on your computer/device or printed out)
- Chargers for electronic devices - charging stations are not provided.
- Snacks
- Umbrella
- Bring your church’s Bishop’s Appeal donation
- Bring your church’s Mission Challenge items for donation
