Pentecost Gathering in Freeport Area Raises Hope
Hope was alive on May 31 as an intergenerational group of over 300 from 16 Freeport-area churches gathered at the Oakdale Tabernacle to celebrate Pentecost.
Rev. Margaret Ann Williams, a retired member of the Northern Illinois Conference, passed away on June 5, 2024. During her ministry she served Marcy-Newberry Association, Inc.
Rev. Williams was 88 years old.
Visitation will take place on June 13, 3 to 7 p.m., at

St. Mark United Methodist Church
