❖ "Responding to Violence", a study for children (ages 5-11; led by Rev. Harriette Cross)
Mission u will be a hybrid (in-person/virtual) event. The opening session (plenary) and first class will be held Friday evening (7-9 PM). Saturday (9 AM-4 PM) will include additional class sessions, break activities and our closing plenary. We will have two sites for this event; Christ UMC, 4509 Highcrest Road, Rockford, IL (January 21-22) and Hinsdale UMC, 945 S. Garfield Street, Hinsdale, IL (February 4-5).
Fes are $45 for an in-person adult (lunch included), $15 for each virtual adult, $5 for each child or youth with a maximum of $15 for children and youth per family. Registration is due by noon, January 16 (for Rockford) and January 30 (for Hinsdale), 2022. Registration can be done through a Cheddar Up link at winter-mission-u-2022.cheddarup.com or by mailing or emailing a completed registration form to Mari Schirmer, 1455 Crystal Ct, Naperville, IL 60563, NILUMW.registrar@gmail.com. In-person class size will be limited to 15 on a first-come-first-served basis.
