Braver Angels is a grassroots civic organization that since late 2016 has recruited thousands of volunteers for civic participation in all 50 states to depolarize our bitter political culture. This Zoom presentation, Q&A, and discussion, will expose participants to conversational skills for polarized times and then describe ways for citizens to get involved in solving the problem of hyper-partisanship and building a House United in their communities.

Goals are to:
Then you will hear about opportunities for citizens across the political spectrum to work together against toxic political rancor that produces dysfunction, cynicism, distrust, and even political violence. There are cutting-edge methods of depolarizing public boards, legislatures, and communities that are not being used or discussed. Hear reasons for hope - you can treat polarization as a problem to fix rather than a defect in the American soul.
