“Growing Together” virtual symposium- Ephesians 4:15.
Presenter: Rev. Kyungsu Park will talk about the importance of relationships in the disciple-making process.
Attendees are encouraged to remain after the morning presentation to participate in breakout sessions, “Let’s Talk About IDS: Intentional Discipleship Systems” on discipling youth and other members of your church.
REGISTER (Registration closes 11/11/21 at midnight)
Rev. Kyungsu Park has served as a youth pastor, a young-adult ministries pastor, and has served in appointed ministry since 2012. He’s an ordained elder in the Northern Illinois Conference and although he is currently serving as a hospital chaplain, he has not lost his passion for equipping young people and following Jesus Christ. He lives in California with his wife, Ann; his 14-year-old son, Jeremiah; and their border collie, Eli. When he’s not working, he can be found making art, reading, or daydreaming about a new motorcycle.
The focus of his presentation is that you can’t have discipleship without relationship. In that sense, our leaders have to “grow together” with their youth if they hope to help make disciples of Jesus Christ.
Please take a moment to take a survey to help guide the discussion during the symposium.
