Starting July 1, 2024, a new labor law from the U.S. Department of Labor raised the wage threshold for overtime exemption, which might affect your ministry. This and other considerations may affect whether you can categorize lay staff as exempt or nonexempt.
Join Caitlin Congdon as she shares information regarding the changes in the Fair Labor Act and how it affects the local churches.

Questions? Contact Elaine Moy, NIC treasurer and director of administrative services.

Training provided by the General Council on Finance and Administration for the Northern Illinois and Wisconsin Conferences.
