Day of Prayer and Fasting

Prayernetwork

Together in Spirit

Acts 14:23 - And when they had ordained them elders in every church and had prayed with fasting, they commended them to the Lord, on whom they believed.

Acts 13:3 - Then after fasting and praying they laid their hands on them and sent them off.

Fri., October 1, 2021, 6 am - 5 pm via  Zoom

All are invited to join anytime during the day to pray for the Conference's three Task Forces and the Ordination and Commissioning Class of 2021.

Prayer leaders will be hourly (see list below).

Several churches will be open for prayer (see list below).

When we pray, we join an ongoing conversation that began with the Divine Word who spoke all things into existence and continues to breathe re-creation and transformation into our lives. When we fast, we pray in solidarity with the hungry and our attention is focused on the One who wills that all those who hunger should be fed, who has provided in abundance; and we sharpen our appetite for the things of heaven.
