Pentecost Gathering in Freeport Area Raises Hope
Hope was alive on May 31 as an intergenerational group of over 300 from 16 Freeport-area churches gathered at the Oakdale Tabernacle to celebrate Pentecost.

Welcome by Euclid Pastor Rev. Dr. Marti Scott and Superintendent Rev. Dr. Zaki L. Zaki.
Keynote Speaker: NIC Bishop Sally Dyck, co-author of A Hopeful Earth.
Tours and resources include Geothermal; Solar; LED lighting; Monarch Gardens; Composting and Interfaith Green Network- greening the community. There will also be time to sign the Chicago Climate Agreement.
