The Northern Illinois Conference is offering 6 training options to help meet our goal of ensuring safe spaces in our churches.

This free training is an alternate for those who cannot participate in other training options and does not include a background check.

90 minutes each
Online via Zoom  or in-person

Safe Sanctuaries is an overt expression in making congregations safe places where children, youth, and elders may experience the abiding love of God and fellowship within the community of faith.

Trainings are an alternate to online Safe Gatherings trainings.
Certificates will be handed out after completion. Participants via zoom must having their camera on and utilize a working microphone to fully participate and receive a certificate of completion. 
Background checks not included. The background check will be coordinated with your local church leadership.
