Church and Society
The Northern Illinois Conference Board of Church and Society will once again offer two types of program grants this year. The Board offers Emerging Ministries grants for new projects, and Peace with Justice grants for those projects focused more broadly on peacemaking in our communities and around the world.
The Board of Church and Society is focused on four ministry areas during the year 2010: economic justice, peace in foreign policy, reducing community violence, and the environment. Emerging ministries grants in these areas will receive preference.
