Bishop's Appeal
This year, the Bishop’s Appeal focused on Migrant Needs. We raised $36,371.89 at Annual Confernce. The funds that we raised together will go to organizations providing immediate needs like hygiene kits, temporary shelter, and food; and longer-term needs like employment, housing, medical care, and legal assistance. We will partner with groups such as Justice for Our Neighbors, World Relief, Refugee One, Illinois Coalition for Immigrant and Refugee Rights (ICIRR), and local NIC Churches. Learn more here.
The NIC Board of Global Ministries is coordinated with Midwest Mission to organize its annual conference collection drive for Midwest Mission’s Most Needed Items. Over 7,000 pounds were donated! Thank you for all who donated.
